july wishes
leaves of green
seedes of hope
turning into trusted things.

bigger than her
the life inside
expanding in wonder
curious with expectation.

summer again
thickness of air
plurality of joys
has the heart smiling inside.

only because
the God she knows
is a God that loves
her redeemed state in Christ.

all his work
his grace ordaining
every moment
of her understanding of Him.

dark nights
sinful states
had dulled the heart
and mind of wintertimes.

confidence in summer
that crape myrtles bloom
is the only evidence
she wants of sovereignty.
